Could my finger be broken? Pics

I can't open the hand fully or make a fist. Halfway through making a fist I feel a strong pain. Any tests to know if its really broken? Its the ring finger, obv.

Right hand for comparison, the swelling (on the left hand in previous pic, through comparison with this one) is obvious.
