Could recessed lateral orbitals cause already close set eyes to appear even closer set

What the title says, basically I have close set eyes and recessed orbitals, both lower and lateral, and in certain light my eyes appear closer set than they already are, and I suspect this is because in certain lighting, where my recession is clearly visible, it somehow makes then look closer. Under other lighting where you can't see recession, they look more wide set. Any thoughts on this?

Yes tbh, especially supraorbitals can make eyes appear closer or wider set depending on shape

Yes definitely.

Well developed Lateral Orbital Rims help offset the close-set eyes appearance.

Lifefuel, I've been wondering for years why I looked good in some lighting, yet utterly dogshit in other.
