I went to school wearing 2 inch lifts today after vacation (since i wear shoes that give me 0.5-1 inch of height, wearing them, i get a total boost of 2.5 to 3 inches). I faced 2 situations:
1. A manlet friend of mine noticed that I was way taller than him and immediately looked at my shoes and asked me if I was wearing taller shoes. I told him no, then he compared his height to mine and told that me that I had grown taller. He later told a few of my friends casually that I had grown taller.
2. During a general discussion about height, when i told a friend that i had grown taller, he sarcastically asked me how many "extensions" i had put in my shoes. However, he later talked about me growing taller several times and didn't mention lifts ever again. (For ex, "You're height has increased but ur looks are gone", etc.)
Could they tell? (After wearing lifts, I went from manlet to average height btw)
I also cover my shoe with trousers and some relatives i have asked told me that its not noticeable, it also doesn't look noticeable to me.
