cheaper, traditional, beautiful places n good weather, more relaxed, relatively safe, easier to learn the language

Japan isn't worth living at imo. There are much better places to live than Japan. You should mainly focus on Costa Rica, Switzerland, and Paraguay. You also better have your money ready if you go to Costa Rica since the cost of living there will be much more expensive in the near future due to many people moving there.

Switzerland has the highest living expenses in Europe, I wouldn't recommend it, but good for travel.

Japan isn't worth living at imo. There are much better places to live than Japan. You should mainly focus on Costa Rica, Switzerland, and Paraguay. You also better have your money ready if you go to Costa Rica since the cost of living there will be much more expensive in the near future due to many people moving there.
Here I am thinking I was ahead of the curve
