Even with anti discrimination laws they still have to compete with men. The most extreme anti discrimination law can only force a 50/50 balance, so there will always be men around to compete.

China is not democratic so it doesn't matter they do in terms of whether women should be allowed to vote. Imo a basic principle of democracy is that everyone should be allowed to vote regardless of gender race orientation. How can you have a democracy when only half the population can vote?
