In the west.still incel.
Bimax with custom made titanium plates for the patient, instead of using "off the shelf" plates.
In this video you can see the custom plates:
"custom bimax" just sounds like a marketing term one surgeon uses, like muh super bimax.
all bimax is "custom" lmao.
Lol at this comment.still incel.
This hurt my ego, but thanks. Makes sense.Late reply but...low IQ as fuck, most bimaxes are 3d planned but done free hand with off the shelf guides and plates, which makes the outcome unpredictable and increase the risk of a botch exponentially. Is common to agree to a 11mm advancement and wake up with 6mm, or be dogmaxxed like an Alfaro patient (he does 3d planned but free hand bimax with off the shelf plates and guides, and the bad outcomes are a lot).
He branded it "custom bimax" because he uses custom made titanium plates and guides which eliminate most risk and make sure everything goes according to the 3d planning.
So no, not all the bimaxes are custom, in fact only a very few are.
He doesn’t get to brand it anything. It’s not a new technique or something he invented.Late reply but...low IQ as fuck, most bimaxes are 3d planned but done free hand with off the shelf guides and plates, which makes the outcome unpredictable and increase the risk of a botch exponentially. It’s bimax + custom printed plates, which many surgeons offer. It’s just more expensive due to the custom printing. Off the top of my head, Pagnoni and Ramieri both offer it.
