cutting edges of lips?

is it possible to slightly cut the corners of your lips in order to get a wider mouth/lips, also getting MARPE soon and i have heard it effects mouth width so i wouldnt want my mouth too be too wide so will slightly cutting it help make it just a bit wider?

This would result in a wider mouth technically, but not wider lips. The cuts would not heal with the same flesh that your lips themselves consist of. It would just scar i think. Meaning your mouth would not be noticeably wider unless you smile. If your face is resting your mouth will just look scarred at the edges.
