I am Malaysian, and the water is clean enough to swim in yeah. I did it alot as a child.

You can rent out jet skis too and swim to other adjacent areas. This particular area is muddy and rocky because it is near a bunch of mangrove trees. This area shouldn't be visible, it's only revealed under "low tide". Or atleast that's what I think it's called in English.
