My grandad is 176 my grandma is 162 and my dad grew to 185, born in 1974. He did not live healthy and has smoked cigarettes since 13 and drank alcohol at that age. But still he managed to override his genetic makeup and become tall. His diet was mostly meat, potatoes, oats, milk, ryebread and whatever pastries you could put on ryebread. He is Danish so maybe that can have something to do with it. Same with my uncle who became 190 cm tall. But his son is only 169. Anyone that can provide answers on this? Could smoking have changed his genetic expression, i read some studies about nicotine being able to aromatase inhibit in rats and mice but im not sure if this is true to humans
