id also like to add that some people look "niche" tbh
Look at models on the Zara or H&M stores and some people like DePoot and Barrett
They are not ugly but just look weird tbh

however certain niches are harder to get into like witchcract, satanism etc

But if you want to have everything working in your favor then it depends on the supply demand for that particular niche. You can create a fake guy and girl account, then count the number of guys in that niche vs the number of girls in that niche to see if there is an imbalance.

Goth guy's also tend to be ugly and weird so it might not be a bad idea to try. Easier competition.

Emo's pretty similar to Goth so you could probably get away with dressing in the overlap area of emo and goth and match with Goths and Emos.
