yo guys so ive been chewing falim gum for almost 3 months and like 5 or more days ago my right masseter started hurting rlly bad im not sure why but i think chewing contributed to that. chewing anything on my right side is painful af. also i have bruxism so i wear a night guard

btw dont tell me to go to an tmj specialist cus my retarded parents are saying i did this to myself and they wont pay for the doctors appointment

What's the pain level 1-10? If it doesn't go away on its own you have to go check it one way or another

I’m sure you overdid it. Just chill for now, stop chewing anything too tough, and go to a doctor whenever you can even if you can’t right now

I had the same problem a couple months ago cuz of chewing too hard bro
stop chewing for a week or two(or more) if it really hurts
take a towel dip it in warm water and massage your masseter muscles in the morning and at night in a circular motion and go from the starting of your ramus till the part of the mandible where your masseter muscles end
avoid jaw clenching cuz it aggravates that area
do this and youll be fine

What's the pain level 1-10? If it doesn't go away on its own you have to go check it one way or another
not painful until i try clenching my right side or chewing on it

btw i cant even align my teeth on my right side even

not sure abt the specific number id give it but definitely extremely uncomfortable and difficult to chew food

stop chewing for a week or two(or more) if it really hurts
