Tip: Only get lower eyelid retraction if you have good undereyes. If you don’t, get fillers or fat transfers or implants. It would look more natural.

btw, looks like that was a revision of a botched surgery. I bet if he went to Taban the first time, it woulda been a good result.

Looks pretty good in pics 4-14

I don’t see the issue

What qualifies as good or bad undereyes

Too bad he couldn't get a better outcome. From what he said in his posts on Realself, he had already undergone eye surgery on two separate occasions with other surgeons. I wonder if that's why he wasn't able to really get a good outcome. I guess that's why Taban told me not to revise my midface implants, since cutting into the lower eyelids again will create more scar tissue buildup and make it difficult for him to do my eye area surgery

if someone had very good undereye support with high set orbitals and good fat pads then they wouldnt need to get lower eyelid retraction in the first place. very few lower blepharoplasty look good long term without fillers or implants

Hi Casey, Due to HIPPA laws, I cannot go into more details. I am sorry I couldn't make you happy but I tried very hard to discuss with you the risks and certainly the limitations of complex revision eyelid surgery as you have had prior failed surgeries (by other surgeons) as you have posted in the past. I do want to mention squinting in before photos can distort the eyes so not true reflection. I hope you find happiness with your eyes and self and not seek further surgery.

Brutal. Idk what I’d do if I ended up with horrible eyes afterwards with no way of fixing them.

why not get both?
you can. but it’s hard for it to look natural and good if you have bad under eyes with tight lower eyelids.

Man I’d honestly hang myself if I ever had such an eye area like that; GD his sex life is in a closed chained casket right now.

I don't think it gives that much. Looking at people with graves' disease they don't get their eyes back to normal state after the decompression. They still look buggy.

cope

being white, having a full head of hair, and a jawline are WAY more important than eye area

just use me as an example, im a khhtv truecel never had a girlfriend, but this guy has definitely gotten laid before

Do you guys still consider Taban to be the top-tier PSL eye surgeon after seeing this guy's results?

He's had multiple failed eye surgeries already, and he's nitpicking his orbital rim implant placement that actually looks OK on his ct scan. This guy needs to stop having eye surgery before he fucks himself up beyond repair

I think a good rule of thumb is to avoid all Beverly Hills surgeons for a multitude of reasons, but Taban is decent at what he does and is in his surgical prime which counts for something

He's the best option right now, no? I need to do more research.

well consider it on someone who doesnt have graves disease looking eyes, just general buggieness

it’s weird, he somehow looks worse with vertically smaller eyes and tighter eyelids, and i can’t really explain exactly why

I think it's probably reasonable to say that the guy's two previous lower eyelid surgeries compromised Dr. Taban's ability to get a really solid outcome. That is literally the factor that is keeping me on the fence as to whether or not I'll move forward with revising my midface implants -- I definitely want (and think I would look objectively better with) 2-3 mm of additional projection, but at the same time, I'm wondering if that will result in Taban having just as hard of a time getting a good result with transforming my own eye area as he had with the patient on RS. I just feel like I'm leaving a noticeable degree of additional angularity on the table by not revising the midface implants, so I would hate to miss out on making them look really outstanding based on an overblown fear of not being able to get a good eye area surgery result.

So u need fillers too if you want to fix nct and uee?

Honestly u can fix anything(nose, jaw, chin)beside of eye area.
Its the ultimate way for people to notice ur bad/good genetics.
And this guy will never ever be chad because of it

Damn 23k!! How is taban that expensive??

Here is another bad case of him: https://www.realself.com/review/bev...etraction-repair-25-year-needed-eye-treatment

Not worth it at all.

I'd stay away from this doctor. He's not worth the hype. I'm going to go and check out other doctors to fix this.

I've tried contacting Taban's office through phone and email and I'm being ignored. I've been on my best behavior, but now I'm really furious. For the amount of money I spent, this is totally unacceptable. Revisions for this are starting at $7000 at other clinics.

Not too happy

Did not turn out as well as I had hoped. Attached are some after pics. As you can see, my right eye is larger than the left.

This doctor is not as good as RealSelf gives him credit for.

Actually, always get fillers first before any surgery.

Fillers go away on their own. Surgeries don't have an undo button.

And JFL @ anyone getting invasive surgery with that guy's looks. He was already above average. In fact guys like him are the perfect candidate for fillers.

Instead of coping with eye surgery he should spent money on a hair transplant because he's clearly norwooding hard:

inb4 you post here with your new bug-eyes in 12 months

I'll never understand people who go for this type of eye-surgery. I've legit never seen a guy IRL who was only failo'd by his eye-area and the rest of him was Chad-tier. There's always something else you can improve first with lower risks and lower costs...

When Taban tells you to call it quits and stop touching your eyes you're fucked.
