damon braces benefits?

what effects do damon braces have on maxilla and bone structure? i haven't done too much research yet but i know they're more effective and better than traditional for purposes like this. i'm not severely recessed or anything but it never hurts to improve. i’ve heard mixed opinions saying they can widen maxilla but can also recess however im not super experienced yet. is it worth it?
