Damon braces vs elastic.

What are the benefits of Damon braces for malocclusions. Currently I have a deep bite and a narrow pallet. I havnt consulted an orthodontist yet but it’s scheduled but I have talked to my hygienist recently and she told me that they do not have Damon braces. If I get elastic braces will it recess me.

I’m not sure if they will give me an expander like Marpe or something like that to fix my palet but if I do get marpe will Damon be da better option?
