Darker moles on ghk?

There’s one mole on my cheek that seems to have darkened after using ghk for 2 weeks

Any science behind it or unrelated?

Apparently it’s possible for moles to look darker but ghk isn’t causing any new pigmentation. It’s just temporary due to increased circulation and skin renewal and due to enhancing melanin metabolism is what I’m reading
