The reason I’ve always disliked dating apps is because it feels like such an inorganic and weird way to meet someone.
Dating apps are set up in such a way that everything feels so transactional. I don’t care how many hot matches you would get, it feels like ordering escorts off a website. The foundation just isn’t strong for a long term relationship.
Cold approaching (and especially warm approaches where there’s actual context behind your interaction) are much better foundations for romantic relationships rather than one night stands.
Dating apps are literally “I like how you look, you like how I look, let’s get this over with quickly”.
Imagine telling your kids “yeah I met your mom on tinder”
