Day 34 - Talk vs. Action

Have you ever wondered why some people are perpetually stuck on this forum circlejerking each other over PSL gods?

The reason is simple - they’re constantly talking instead of taking action. You see, in every single action you make in your life you must consider the benefits to you personally. Usually we let our amygdala make those decisions to fulfill our basic needs. That’s obviously not enough though because we are humans, so we naturally go up Maslows hierarchy of needs. we want more

And what ends up happening is our minds have tricked us into giving us validation over the reactions of other humans - which is good, but it obviously doesn’t translate online because there’s no bonding occurring. Then the yap sessions begin, who is higher PSL? Who is true Adam? Autistic blanket statements also begin to emerge - face is law. Lean is law. Height is law. And so on

The only relevant thing to you should be - what are your goals in life? Will theorizing about these things help you achieve those goals? Will commenting on this forum help you achieve your goals?

This isn’t even a problem limited to this forum; obviously it applies in all areas of life. People get too caught up in the weeds. It’s fun, it’s easy, it circumvents actually doing - and you can spend all day rotting and theorizing.

I’ve fell victim to this as well, and am still a victim to it. Gradually you must improve your brain and gear yourself towards doing rather than thinking or talking. Doing will get you places. It’s true that all things start as an idea - but ideas spread through a physical medium, they must be translated. Words lead nowhere they just dissipate into slop unless there’s a genuine meaning and emotion and most importantly, action, behind them.

Even this post is ironic because I’m also talking instead of doing.

Day 34 of self improvement

Had another wank today. Not really mad at myself I know what I need to do now specifically. I just need to chip away at the same block and I’m willing to, day after day.

Retrospective: more doing, less thinking

Good thing: I figured this out - it’s so simple, ts is so obvious. Like no shit doing weightlifting like an autist with no regard for your body is still better than doing science based lifting and spending time optimizing and perfecting everything - I’m not saying that doesn’t work, I’m just saying that most people don’t have what it takes to implement past the thinking phase, they get too caught up in the planning that they forget the whole point of the action.

Mental health: I feel okay, I can def feel the energy benefit of the supps kicking in like in the last hour. But earlier in the day I just felt down, tbf that wasn’t mental health that was just low energy.

1 thing: buy the supps and all the other shitvivneed
