6/10 ragebait, would've gotten some with first partI mean no offense by this, but to be completely honest, anybody that genuinely believes LeBron is the greatest isn't worth arguing with.
There are plenty of arguments, but c'mon, you can't be the greatest of all time whilst being negative in the finals.
Faggot balkan boy wants some chocolate in his mouth
sure, ill give u that jordan had more influence and made nba the nba it is today, but im talking about player quality and greatness purely, lets first start with the fact jordan had 9 total made threes his rookie season, while last night a lakers rookie had 9 3pm in one game, also not to mention the fact jordan WAS ON 72-10 bulls team WHILE BRON HAD TO PLAY 73-9 warriors, greatest team of all time, add the only 3-1 comeback to that and the fact he managed to win 4 rings and 4 fmvps during the most competitive basketball era ever, he arguably also had 4 SEPARATE HOF careers and was robbed of many awards in late 2000s and early 2010sThere isn't much to debate. LeBron was/is a great player and Top 2-3 but he has been pushed artificially by the NBA, Nike and every corporation behind him that you can imagine. Perhaps more than any other athlete in the history of proffessional sports. An example of how capitalism inflates an athlete for the sake of narrative selling that generates views, engagement and ultimately money.
MJ was just a natural. The NBA wouldn't be what it is without him. Nike wouldn't even exist without him. The man won a three peat, retired 2 years and won another three peat. Then retired another 2 years and came back averaging something close to a 20-5-5 in one of the slowest eras in NBA history and visibly out of shape.
MJ is the most important professional athlete of sports history.
It's true that LBJ is a better 3P shooter than MJ, both being below average. However, MJ was way better on mid range and free throws.sure, ill give u that jordan had more influence and made nba the nba it is today, but im talking about player quality and greatness purely, lets first start with the fact jordan had 9 total made threes his rookie season, while last night a lakers rookie had 9 3pm in one game
The reason for this was because MJ was good enough to make his team go 72-10. And he wasn’t even on his prime, that was in 1996 and his prime was during 1991-1993., also not to mention the fact jordan WAS ON 72-10 bulls team WHILE BRON HAD TO PLAY 73-9 warriors, greatest team of all time
MJ only played three Game 7s on his entire career, and that was because he was so good that he barely ever needed it. LeBron has done several times., add the only 3-1 comeback to that
MJ got 6 rings and 6 Finals MVP in 16 years. LeBron had 4-4 in 20-21 years (I don't see the Lakers winning this year). And i don't necessarily agree that his era is more competitive. Sometimes it was (Against GSW especially), and sometimes it wasn’t that much (Against OKC in 2012, against the Heat in the Bubble, even the loss against Dallas in 2011 with LeBron barely averaging close to 19-5-5 was unforgivable). And remember that LeBron's east from 2011 to 2018 consisted of an old Celtics team and the young Pacers who weren’t even that good, and afterwards the Raptors of DeFrozen and Lowry.and the fact he managed to win 4 rings and 4 fmvps during the most competitive basketball era ever,
I don't agree. At best he deserved one more MVP during his second Cleveland run, and maybe and just maybe, the DPOY that they gave to Marc Gasol in 2013 (Although Marc was a great defender, but funny enough they gave him the prize and then put him in the 2nd All Defensive Team )he arguably also had 4 SEPARATE HOF careers and was robbed of many awards in late 2000s and early 2010s
