@DawahWise yes that story is a metaphor for God's creation of space-time i.e. the expansion of the universe. The four directions, left and right side of the x-axis and top and bottom of the y-axis. Shatarupa is the daughter(feminine) because God's intelligence is material nature or prakriti i.e. feminine. God/Brahma "penetrates" i.e. uses His intelligence to create the universe.
So Hinduism IS correct. Our "mythologies" are beautiful metaphors.
