I saw a couple of threads claiming jaw is better, and jaw is more important than eyes
.
Yeah it’s stupid asf and I want to debunk it once and for all:
When people look at your face, they don’t scan your mandible like a forensic anthropologist.
They lock on your eyes (for the first couple of minutes at least) in milliseconds of seeing you.
This isn’t a vibe thing. It’s hardwired into the brain. Eye-tracking devices prove it. When someone sees your face, their gaze goes straight to your eye area. Doesn’t matter if your jaw is good Looking .
Yeah jaw is very important but don’t compare it to eyes, jaw can’t make your face alone, eyes do.
Beautiful eyes=more trusted by women, explaining it clearly.
Your eyes don’t just influence how you’re seen; they change how others act around you. This happens even if your eyes are just on a sign. Like subliminal social control. People behave more honestly, help more, and resist cheating, even when there’s no actual social enforcement, just the idea of being watched. That’s orbital dominance classic.

Exhibit 2: perfect example of eyes>jaw. orb is CL while his eyes are his only good feature:
Exhibit 3: yeah the classic pic. The jaw is obviously not that bad but you get the point:

Absence of preferential looking to the eyes of approaching adults predicts level of social disability in 2-year-old toddlers with autism spectrum disorder - PubMed
Looking at the eyes of others is important in early social development and in social adaptation throughout one's life span. Our results indicate that in 2-year-old children with autism, this behavior is already derailed, suggesting critical consequences for development but also offering a...

Holistic gaze strategy to categorize facial expression of varying intensities - PubMed
Using faces representing exaggerated emotional expressions, recent behaviour and eye-tracking studies have suggested a dominant role of individual facial features in transmitting diagnostic cues for decoding facial expressions. Considering that in everyday life we frequently view low-intensity...

Distinct representations of eye gaze and identity in the distributed human neural system for face perception - PubMed
Face perception requires representation of invariant aspects that underlie identity recognition as well as representation of changeable aspects, such as eye gaze and expression, that facilitate social communication. Using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), we investigated the...

1.Your Eyes Set the Mood Before You Even Speak:
Every social interaction starts with a silent scan of your orbital area. Before you even speak, your eyes are evaluated for honesty, confidence, fear, and sexual potential. You could have a god-tier mandible, but if your eyes look cold, dead, or deceptive, you’ve already been friendzoned by the foid you’re talking to. This is why people with warm, expressive, or intimidating eyes can instantly generate a “safe” vibe, even without saying a word, brutal ain’t it?Studies
2.Bright Eyes = Instant Approachability & Charisma:
It turns out that iris brightness and pupil size can influence whether strangers trust or donate to you , moneymaxing with your eyes even if you’re a cartoon monkey JFL. Yes, even primates get judged by eye traits. Humans react to bright, open eyes with generosity, friendliness, and attraction. This isn’t a vibe; it’s a subconscious signal that your eyes are like- “I’m here, I’m friendly, come closer” really.studies

Eyes Are The Door to Trust. Attractiveness, Too.
Eyes convey trust and attractiveness, even in photos. Larger pupils and thicker limbal rings both change how others perceive the person in a photo.

For people who understand something in their life and are high IQ, this thread should be water. But for people who are still believing jaw will change their subhuman eye area are delusional.
TL;DR:
Eyes are the real social currency. Before you even open your mouth, people scan your orbital area for signs of honesty, intelligence, and emotional depth. Simple neurology.
Your eyes are your evolutionary lie detector bypass. Pupils, sclera brightness, and orbital symmetry instantly tell others whether you’re safe, dominant, deceptive, or attractive, and they react accordingly.
Trust isn’t built by jawlines. It’s built through eye contact, pupil mimicry, and facial expressiveness made by your eyes. People literally behave better when exposed to top-tier eyes, even if it’s just a photo.
