Debunking the myth that Asians have flat maxillas (for all you brainwashed retards)
I am going to be debunking the myth that asians, especially east asians have flat maxillas, most people on this forum are under the impression that asians have flat maxillas.
Firstly, I will explain what the maxilla is.
The maxilla is the part of the skull that is directly located under the zygomatic bones (aka cheekbones) Note that they are not part of the cheekbones at all. While the maxilla is partly responsible for forward growth, I will be explaining why the idea that “asians have flat maxillas” is false and misinformed.
Next I will show a diagram of the zygomatic bones
The zygomatic bones are the cheekbones in a skull, notice how they are NOT the maxilla, this information is fundemental.
Notice how the zygomatic bones are placed right where the eye sockets are. This information is also fundemental.
Now look at the girl on the right, many people try to claim that white people have more forward growth because of the diagonal line created between the bottom of the eye socket to the lips.
And many people try to claim that asians have recessed maxillas and no forward growth due to that diagonal line not being present.
BUT many of you fail to realise that is not due to recession in the maxilla bone, that is due to asians having more pronounced zygomatic regions(less deep set eyes). White people have more deep set eyes, therefore their zygos are more recessed into the skull which many of you guys mistake as “having more forward growth”
You need to understand that zygomatic region and maxilla region are two completely seperate bones, and having a more pronounced maxilla does not make your maxilla recessed, your maxilla remains unaffected whether you have deeper set eyes or not.
My point is, asians do not have recessed maxillas, and in fact, forward growth isnt exclusive to a race, it just varies from person to person and its time to let go of the shitty misinformed bigoted idea that asians have flat maxillas and that white people have the most forward growth
