when i jut my lower jaw slightly forward the cheek on one side looks more balanced and the jaw on other side becomes fuller. the temples become more even as well. i think that my jaw is a little crooked. do you know if bsso changes your temples at all?

jfl no, bsso doesn't change your temples. You should consult an ortho since you look class 3 if anything based on your lip.

Either way, you look unkempt and greasy af. If you softmaxxed you could ascend.

i don't know if he was the right guy to ask but i asked the dentist who i was seeing at the time if my bite was ok, he did a finger test and said it was good

yea man, sometimes i shave but it never seems to change anything.
maybe bsso doesn't do what i think it would (recreating the look when i jut slightly), if not maybe a genioplasty is the answer. saves a lot of money and time wagecaging

you could be saved by lower teeth braces... you are only lacking a mentolabial fold, but i can see good chin projection and mandible lenght behind it. ur lower teeth are protruding probs, making u look chinless.. fixing the teeth might fix ur lower lip therefore improving ur chin quite a lot

What's the current best option for jaw implants? Most silicone implants lack the sharpness I want.

Custom wraparound implants usually.

Pretty sure if you tell them it’s for jaw surgery (maxillofacial surgeon) they know what to do. The only other option I can think of (if they have a CT machine) is to request a 3DCT which shows the full facial structure or skull in 3D with soft tissue. Normal cephs are more simple and 2D.

You can’t do BSSO alone if you have normal bite. You’d have to do some CCW rotation for the mandible to swing foward without moving the upper lip foward.
