Sweden used to be known for its safety, high standard of living and equality, but in recent years the country's reputation has taken the darkest turn imaginable. The government is ashamed to report on it to the outside and international media barely covers what's happening so stay with me.
Introduction: 12 year old shot
Adriana was a 12-year old girl who went outside to walk her dog on a summer night. On her way back home, she walked by a gas station when gang criminals pulled up in an Audi and opened fire on the parking lot with assault rifles. Their targets were rival gang members but Adriana was caught in the crossfire and shot multiple times. She died on the spot.

Sweden has the most gun crime in the EU and stories like Adriana's have become more common every year. In 2023 gang shootings peaked at 363 per year and by 2025 there were 37 bombings in the first month alone. That makes Sweden the most bombed country in the world that isn't at war, side by side only with Mexico. Most of the perpetrators are children that are groomed to become killers for the gangs.
And now, Iran are using Swedish gangs to carry out terrorist attacks on Jewish and Israeli targets in Europe.
In the latest elections, Sweden voted in its most right-wing government ever to take control over the situation. The new Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson has declared gang violence a national emergency.
Sergragation:
Sweden adopted one of the most liberal open-borders immigration policies in the world. Since the 90s they've experienced wave after wave of mass immigration from warzones in Africa and the Middle East.
Today, over 31% of Sweden's population are foreigners which is the highest percentage in all of Europe.
Segregation a deeper look:
Sweden wanted to be the poster child for multiculturalism, but they took in far more refugees than the country could sustain and had no plan to integrate them to society. Refugees were dumped into isolated neighborhoods where they weren't even expected to learn the language or adapt to Swedish culture.
These areas became parallel societies where ethnic Swedes and Swedish culture have entirely disappeared from. They're segregated from the rest of society not just by ethnicity but also economically, with higher unemployment, more crime and dependence on social benefits. Examples of segregated areas are Rinkeby, a district of Stockholm with 92% foreigners and Rosengård, a district of Malmö with 86% foreigners.
There's anarchy in these areas and many riots have broken out in recent years.
By September 2024, Swedish police had listed 59 segregated neighborhoods. Police struggle to keep control in many of them and some have even been referred to as No-Go Zones, because visiting isn't considered safe. You can get robbed, attacked or be caught in the crossfire of the gang conflicts.
Gangs/conflicts:
Today Sweden has around 200 gangs with 62K gang members, 94% of them are from foreign backgrounds and 95% are men.
Politicians ignored the warning signs of gang crime for years. The topic became a taboo because of political correctness and concerns were dismissed as racism and xenophobia by the left-wing parties in power. People were scared to speak out and mainstream media didn't report truthfully on statistics like the ethnicity of criminals. Segregated areas were left unchecked and young immigrant men turned to crime in them.
The First Gang War:
In 2015 Sweden saw its first gang war. For the first time in Swedish history, shootings started breaking out in public places like cafés, shopping centers and parking lots.
It kicked off with two gangs, Death Patrol and Shottaz both from the Somali community in Rinkeby, Stockholm. They grew up in the same friend group where they used to sell drugs and rob people. But Izzy and Maslah were two of them that had plans to make bigger money.
Izzy in the hat Mariah in pink:
Four Somali teenagers led by Izzy and Maslah entered a shopping center in Kista as soon as it opened. They threw a smoke grenade in the hallway to avoid being caught on CCTV and ran into a jewelry store. Maslah fired warning shots threatning to kill the cashier, the others broke the glass displays with crowbars, filled their bags with jewels and escaped successfully.
Forex Heist (July 22nd 2015)
A few months later they pulled off a second robbery at a Forex in Täby. They broke into the office early in the morning armed with AKs. Staff pressed the panic alarm and hid in another room, while the gang got off with 2 million Swedish kronor, ($200K). They managed to escape clean, but behind the scenes things fell apart when Izzy decided to leave Maslah without his cut.
Execution of Izzy (July 22nd 2015)
Maslah felt betrayed and he gathered his closest friends from the gang to confront Izzy. In the evening they found him at the subway station in Rinkeby and demanded his share of the money, when Izzy refused the confrontation got physical. Maslah drew a handgun from his pocket and started chasing him through the city center. Izzy ran all the way to a nearby forest where Maslah and his friends caught him, he was executed with several shots to his back and died at 19.
Maslah Gets Gunned Down (July 23rd 2015)
The next night at 3AM, Maslah and his friends were on the run sitting at a gas station. Maslah called his mom warning her that he's being chased and he might not make it. Not long after, they were ambushed by two masked men from Izzy's crew. Maslah was shot in his neck and head, and he died at 16. The two men escaped with a bike.
This crime once shocked Sweden but 10 years later is has become the norm.Sweden's justice system was never meant for gangs. It was designed around the idea of rehabilitation, where prisoners get a second chance instead of harsher punishment. This model used to work when dangerous criminals were rare outliers, and as little as 25% became reoffenders after prison, compared to 70% in the US. But immigrant gangs started using the system to their advantage.
Child soldiers:
The most disturbing way gangs exploit Sweden's justice system is the recruitment of child soldiers. In Sweden kids under 15 can't be prosecuted at all no matter how serious the crime is and teenagers are sent to youth homes instead of prisons. This is part of the rehabilitation program, but it doesn't work out anymore when reoffending rates for teenagers with gang ties are estimated to be 90%:
Minor Recruited for Murder
In 2018, Death Patrol ran one of the first experiments with minors. On January 8th, they sent a 16-year old to carry out a hit on Shottaz, knowing everyone would get off easy. He walked into a pizzeria in Rinkeby and shot the target in his head.
Abdirizak Osman was caught and sentenced to 3 years in a youth home:
A bomb went off in an apartment building in Farsta, Stockholm, in March 2023. A 15-year old was caught and sentenced to 9 months in a youth home. It sent 10 people to the hospital, one of whom was 61-year old Pär Lundholm who became permanently disabled:
Murder of 13-year old Witness
Taking out witnesses is another one, even if they're a little kid. In September 2023, 13-year old Milo was found shot in the head in a forest in Haninge. The investigation is still ongoing, but the case has been confirmed to be gang related and Milo had been a witness to a crime. Two Foxtrot members, aged 27 and 28, were arrested and detained as suspects in December 2023.
Milo 2010-2023
Double Murder of Child Soldiers:
Layth al-Azzawi, Mohamed Suleiman 2009-2023
Layth and Mohamed, were both 14 year-olds living in a youth home when they went missing in the summer of 2023. They had been recruited online by Foxtrot to carry out a hit on the Dalen Network gang. The boys were already given instructions and handed two pistols, but when the murder approached they started panicking. They claimed to have lost the guns and wanted desperately to back out. That same evening they were ordered to be killed.
Kidnappings:
A Foxtrot member in Dubai set up an operation to take out the boys on July 25th. He recruited other teenagers to lure Mohamed and Layth into a discreet location where they could be kidnapped. Layth was last seen on CCTV footage walking alongside one of them in a store right before the abduction.
The Murders:
The boys were kidnapped and driven off to two different basements in the Stockholm area. Both were tied up with their mouths taped. They were tortured and filmed for at least 10 hours. In the videos they can be seen pleading and crying, they're kicked, strangled, beat up and their heads are smashed so hard it causes visible brain damage. The next night after the torture, they were driven off to a forest in Nynäshamn, where Mohamed was stabbed to death and Layth was strangled to death.
Police reenactment of the crime scene:
(Mohamed was alive in the pic in the handcuffs at this point)
Robin Hedman Johansson, the man who put out the hit from Dubai returned to Sweden voluntarily and was arrested at the airport. The trial began in March 2025 and is set to continue until May this year. 18 people have been charged in connection to the murders so far.
The end. Well there's more gang bullshit with foxtrot leaders shooting up others mothers but the file size is at its max. Also don't do crime and shieeettt not worth it brocels.
