I’m going to try to not make you feel bad but you should never, ever, ever tell a narcissist that they are a narcissist. You are in a hostage situation. Knowing enough to identify one should be knowing enough to understand that you can’t change them or threaten them and everything you say is supply or fuel they can smear you with. You need to be a grey rock. You need to stop giving them emotional reactions to feed off of. You’ve made a mistake but if you draw inwards and protect yourself and STOP worrying about fixing or punishing this person you can still pull yourself out.
