Why is this

In front camera u have to look pretty closely to realize my jaw seems a bit asymmetrical and eyes too, same with mirrors

But in back camera held a foot or two away its like my eyes are completely different shapes and heights

Why is this

Perspective. You always see your face in the mirror, and in the front camera.

Back camera also has different focus length. Look up how focus length affects how faces are photographed. Major difference.

The key difference is basically, things look wrong because you're so used to seeing yourself one way, it's a shock when you see yourself in another way.

So as long as im not glaringly asymmetrical in front camera and mirror and i have to look pretty closely to notice any asymmetry, then ppl irl dont notice it either?

People out in the world probably have comparable asymmetries to you. For example I think I am extremely asymmetrical, my friend does not, but he thinks he is. I think his face is symmetrical.

I doubt anyone notices. Everyone thinks everyone else is symmetrical.

exactly, its only because ur used to seeing ur face in a certain way, but other people have never seen the "inversed" side of you, so they dont notice any assymetry. my girlfriend litteraly told me i have a very symmetrical face and i was surprised because i think i look like shit when i use the inverted filter or back camera like my face is litterally melting off
