How much rotation is doable in surgery?

I'm planning my bimax and surgeon proposed about 4.5 degrees of CCW rotation, is that a decent amount and what's the average obtained in these surgeries?

No surgeon will ever perform that much. Probably your ramus is quite short as well and there is not much you can do there as elongating it will make your midface appear longer.

I know wolford has done 30 degree CCW rotation on a female. Maybe Ill have to go to him

4.5 isn’t enough sir. I noticed why jaw surgery’s barely change looks is because they aren’t doing enough clockwise or counterclockwise rotation of the mandible and chin and maxilla for it to be aesthetically pleasing
