This 27 year old man "never went through puberty" due to an issue with his pituitary gland.
while it is obviously not desirable to be a 27 year old child, one effect of his condition was that his growth plates never closed. the man is 6'2. although his bones are very weak, they can be strengthened now with the testosterone he never originally received.
My question is this. is there anyway to artificially delay the closure of growth plates in order to continue bone growth and have a more malleable structure? preferably without the other effects of "not going through puberty". is there a way to temporarily turn off the signal for closing growth plates, preferably in isolation, and preferably even without decreasing levels of testosterone?
