depressing change of perspective on seasons

recently realized i’ve started to completely hate winter and the cold. funny how it used to be my favorite season as a kid. setting up the christmas tree, decorating the house and playing outside in the snow were my favorite things. now winter just means i have to deal with dry cracking skin, feezing hands and feet and struggling to get out of bed because it’s so fucking cold. can’t help but wonder if i’ll ever feel that same joy and excitement for the holiday season again. this world and universe is evil and it does everything possible to fuck you up.
