Yesterday I got septoplasty so my nose is all swollen and congested and has wires running through it. I’ve been forced to exclusively mouth breathe for the past 27 hours and I don’t get the wires out for another week. Fuark ccws me

I have painkillers but don’t really need them tbh. Maybe if I went a day without them I’d change my mind on that but rn the only pain is when I swallow bc my uvula is so swollen from the breathing tube they had down my throat

Brutal man I stopped bleeding after a few hours. Glad to hear you’re breathing is better I hope I’ll report the same. How long did it take to get the breathing benefits? They said I’ll have swelling in my nose for a while

after removing the nose tampon thing i breathe good and then they gave me this

I cleaned my nostrils with this like 1 month cuz they said it. U add something in it and fill it with water. It prevents the crusting in the nostrils.

i got septo like 1.5 yrs back, the uncomfortable feeling keeps going until u get the splint removed abt 1-2 weeks in (make surer u keep using the nasal spray frequently or youll rly regret)

it goes back to normal completely after that, idk how ur going thru w/o painkillers tho that shit was p brutal
