I live in a big city.
I don't drive a pickup truck (nor do I drive at all).
I don't own firearms.
I don't fish.
I don't go camping.
I don't drink beer or whiskey.
I work in an air-conditioned office.
I never want a wife or kids.
I'm an atheist.
Based on lifestyle alone, I have way more in common with liberals. Yet liberals hate me because of my political beliefs.
As for rednecks, they wouldn't hate me for my political beliefs. But I just don't have much in common with rednecks (for that matter, living in a big city, I don't even really have any contact with rednecks)
It's no surprise I'm a pariah (in terms of friendship and sex/dating)
