I've done all of the following:

• Go to a college where I knew no one (in a state where I knew no one)
• 2 years after college, I moved to a place where I knew no one (with no job lined up)
• Gotten many chest waxes
• Got a full Brazilian wax once
• Got tattooed
• Visited places solo that I had never been before
• Allowed total stranger foids from Craigslist into my apartment in college for casual sex
• I even attempted to take my own life once 6 years ago (and nearly succeeded)

Yet approaching a woman terrifies me.

On the other hand, there are men who have no qualms about approaching a woman, yet wouldn't dare to do some/all of the bullet points I listed.

It's interesting how we're all different in terms of what we are/aren't brave enough to do.

And don't you dare call me cowardly for my phobia of approaching a woman. My bullet points prove I'm no coward.

I have no self-esteem. Getting turned down by a woman in person would kill my already non-existent self-esteem.

At least if a woman on a dating/hookup site turns me down, it's easier to put her out of mind.

For one, clubs would be miserable for a man with ASD.

Just start asking for cigarettes or lighters. Then make a remark about the weather or how prices have gone up with a cheeky smile and good body language.

always found it weird how some of the biggest beta pussies i know have 0 issues with approaching/pestering women. not that it translates to any success, but still. it's almost like they don't even believe it will work themselves, but have a compulsion to act anyway. maybe they want to get rid of that "if only i tried" dread that way
