Every person is living in "determinism" meaning what they do as an individual is actually 0,01% the reason things happen to them. What is only on our control is our will but even our will is already determined by the world that is surrounding us (our body). Thinking the future is not already done is the same as thinking the past doesn't exist, the past creates the future.

Science predicts the future based on theories, sometimes fails but is designed to understand reality as a mechanism. So determinism exists in the sense that what we can do to change what's around us is very limited.

An easy example is approaching women, you either approach or not but the results aren't gonna change: if she likes you / if she doesn't like you. First case you get the number, second case you don't. So approaching or not approaching didn't change the future. Sending your resume or not sending it to the company that wasn't looking for you won't change a thing and this happens with everything else.

I don't think freedom exists but we choose what to do, an option. This option is not produced by us. Based on your own understanding of things you choose something. This option is an hipothetical situation that's gonna happen if you start being involved in it. My mind opens the door of the situation that was already happening.
