Dexter: Original Sin review

- flashback scenes are boring shit that add literally nothing that wasn't already said in the main series
- every Debra subplot is her being a dumb worthless highschool whore debasing herself with drugs and alcohol and cock to punish her father for not giving her enough attention
- Masuka is a caricature of the original character. For God's sake, original Masuka only did that laugh when he made a dirty joke occasionally, not in every single scene.
- overused cuts to previous scenes to remind you of what the characters are talking about, because they assume you're a drooling retard who can't keep track of 70iq plotlines
- main villain murders a random innocent boy and his motivation is that it was somehow to punish his whore wife for leaving him (the boy he murdered had nothing to do with the wife)

Verdict: Disaster slop-fest

I watched the first episode of Twin Peaks. It was boring. Does it get better? The moody vibe music doesn't work as well as it did in Mulholand Drive.

To each their own, it was much better than some of the later Dexter seasons in my opinion. I liked the scenes with Brian’s development and Dex’s first kills. It’s also a setup for Resurrection. That show could be amazing.

I thought they were setting up to do a twist where they show Harry roped because of Brian, not because of Dexter, but they weren't sentient enough to think to do this.

We’re gonna see Dexter actually on the run, it could be entertaining and exciting to see.

agreed, i unironically skipped/2x on most of the flashback scenes because they were so fucking meaningless and boring
