DHT is and always will be a shit and useless hormone above the age of 18. I have seen a lot of discussion regarding dht and its effects on skin elasticity and sebaceous gland secretion.
As an autist pharmacology student this has really intrigued me the last few months.
Base points that are factual and not debatable:
1. DHT does block collagen and leads to losing skin elasticity
2. DHT is responsible for up regulating the sebaceous gland, leading to your subhuman skin.
3. There is no reason to not be on dut once penile development is over
All of these points are not debatable and true. The question I want to attempt to answer is
Does blocking DHT with dut enough to seriously impact skin quality?
The answer is somewhat complex, lets take a look at dht effects on suppressing collagen.
DHT does lead to a down regulation of collagen synthesis, this is true. However blocking suppression of collagen production does NOT equal an increase in collagen production. DUT is more of an anti-aging compound when it comes to its effects of collagen. Instead it should the combined with something that induces cellular turnover, something like isotrent or topical trent.
now lets look at decreasing dht and its effects on the sebaceous gland.
Your gland is extermly sensitive to androgens like dht and still functions even at very low levels of dht. Dut does till decrease the sebaceous gland production, however it gets mogged brutally by isotrent which permanlty nukes your sebaceous gland. I would not use dut with the intended function of decreasing your oily subhuman skin.
TL;DR
Use dut more in anti-aging/hairloss sense. Do not expect your skin to mog just by blocking type 1 5ar, but still nuke dht at all cost. High IQ users please give your input on this
