I'm recently noticing a very small diastema (tooth gap) appearing between my two front teeth (It's barely even noticeable) and I'm trying to figure out the mechanics of how this works.
I know that when people do MARPE, they get a massive tooth gap, far bigger than the one I have, so I think it's clear that this is a sign of slight/gradual maxillary expansion (I've also had a couple of other signs).
But do any of you know how this could have happened without any procedures? The two things I do which I think could cause this are thumbpulling and usin the reviv mouthguard but I'm not sure which one of these is causing it.
I am trying to figure out which process is causing this. Wondering if anybody else has had the same and how the mechanics work for this.
