Did anyone else want to be a good person

Ive always wanted to helo people ever since I was kid, I realized Im too low IQ to make any major impact with my brain. So I used to want to join the miltary "muh defend my country" and shit

I was very altruistic back when I was young, but as Ive gotten old its killed most of my motivation to be altruistic.

Theres part of me that still is that way I often fantasize about being a hero in some way who helps people.

But Im always brought back to reality by thinking this world isnt worth such things anyways, and even if it were im too incompetent to be that guy
