Did anyone have to read Grendel (Gardner) in high school?

I don't know why I never thought of this before, but Grendel is the most incel book ever. It's about an incel monster Grendel. Everyone hates him. He's even grossed out by vaginas like many incels. Great book though.

In the end he even gets killed by Chad Beowulf.
