Evolution plays a crucial role in beauty because back then they had different their standards a were more on how strong people thought you were, how good you could track the hunt, how many wars you have been in and won.

Over time human started to be more peaceful and learned how to farm this caused people to have groups (civilizations) and naturally when your in a group you feel more protected and your less likely to get attacked so because of this standards started going lower now people went from how many people you killed in a war to how rich you were or how popular you were.

Now that we have been modernized we don’t have to really worry about how strong your future husband is so he can protect you from a T-rex(but we still have to worry about if our spouse is financially stable) evolution shows also how humans standards changed in our brain so now we really only worry about two things physical appearance and financial state (but more of physically financially comes on later).

Our brain is hardwired to give a positive back feed internally when we see someone beautiful we go “dude she is toe curling” or “he is mouth drooling” JFL:lul:. And our brain overtime has decided that physically good looking means you’re gonna produce healthy offspring you’re gonna be able to provide for me, and you want that for yourself unless you’re just a moron.

Lastly if your a moron and think “No beauty is subjective” your opinion doesn’t really matter because even if you say that no one is gonna really listen to you because we care about the majority’s opinion and your brain is always gonna look at an attractive guy more than a ugly guy.
