Very likely, but also very likely their use will be limited to Kursk region/border. They might be used as "3rd line", "a backup", support forces. Also, there were reports of korean missiles being used so it may be a test ground for them (as it's been for a long time already for NATO).

Becuase there is a difference between singular people who choose to fight for another country and the government of a country sending soldiers to fight, Russia has been using mercenaries from other countries already for a while now.

I have been reading south korean newspapers and they have gone full propaganda saying they deflected even though they haven't even entered combat at all.
However, the west is trying to sell it as some sort of "Look, Russia doesn't have soldiers" (A lie), when in reality it's just North Korea sending some few thousands to gaiin experience in combat and maybe even form some sort of special force as part of the agreement they made with Russia some months ago. Maybe even not that but just to work as observers.
Either way there is a lot of propaganda going on and it fits the west to sell that kind of narrative because to the average westerner North Korea is the closest thing to Nazi Germanh and it gives them some sort of fake moral legitimacy in front of their public.
