Nah idk wtf they're talking about, you're allowed to touch your perm since touching it doesn't remove the chemicals. It is recommended to avoid water (even tho i got water on my perm before 48 hours and still turned out normal). But don't use shampoo for 2 days.

Yeah, it'll naturally loosen up after the first wash.
