Wrote this to help a grey recognize the diff between bimax and jaw surgery

Doing research, realised I don't know what makes a Mandibular Sagital Split Surgery BSSO and what makes it not? Or are they completely interchangable?

As the name suggests , sny saggital split on the mandible is bsso , just the position varies as your post demonstrates so no reason to complicate it

Well ramus is part of the mandible , but i see your point , still though by definiton it's a bsso that's at least my opinion
So it is completely interchangeable?
