THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PSL & APPEAL
Let me just start off this post by saying these two terms are coequal in general but of course there's always exceptions.
Many people claim if you have High PSL, by definition, you also have High Appeal.
This claim is true to an extent, however, it fails due to the logical fallacy of accident.
The fallacy of accident occurs when a general rule is applied to an exceptional or "accidental" case where the rule does not apply.
So assuming this is always true is a logical fallacy.
Now, I will begin explaining the meanings of both terms for a better understanding:
What is PSL?
PSL (Perceived SMV) is the totality of how sexually desirable you are to the opposite sex, determined primarily by objective facial structure, dimorphism, harmony, and overall phenotype.
What is Appeal?
It’s about how desirable or magnetic your overall look feels once everything style, vibe, grooming, skin, expressions comes together. Two people can have the same PSL, but the one with better styling, cleaner skin, sharper fashion, or a more striking vibe will have way more appeal.
Appeal is also more emotional it’s the reason someone might not have elite bone structure but still gets tons of attention. It’s how your look hits people, not just how it measures on paper.
Now that we understand the meanings of both terms and the exceptions where they are different, I will now show an example of somebody who has High PSL but little to no appeal:
This is a picture of Jordan Barrett and as you can see here, he doesn't look very appealing.
Most girls would be scared of this guy and be intimidated by his looks because he doesn't look approachable at all.
He looks like a malnourished alien and I'm sure most of you would agree with me.
However, Jordan Barrett in his prime looked way more appealing while still having High PSL
I will show an example of him when he was appealing here:
See how much more appealing he looks here?
He looks great and looks way more approachable.
This is an example of an exception in the general ruling.
The goal of this post was to inform you about the meanings of both terms as well as the possible exceptions between them.
