Difference between recessed chin and recessed mandible?

My bite is good due to my orthojew but he used camouflage orthodontics so it's not a reliable indicator. How do I know if it is my chin that is recessed or if its my lower jaw? Any indicators for that?

There is clearly a difference between the mandible body and the chin which protrudes beyond the teeth. There are alot of cases where just the chin is recessed and not the rest of the mandible

It's not recessed then i think it's just small

recessed chin= small chin in sagittal plane

recessed chin is not a medical term, only for some reason people on PSL still use it.
