Having discipline means you’ll still work out, diet, do the things you need to achieve your goals even when you don’t want too. Motivation always runs out and when you skip out on a day it’s very easy to spiral back down to where you started. That’s why you need to start forcing yourself to get out there.

Discipline is cope.
And is around 70% genetic
Some people's brains are wired to only view their "goals" as the only thing that's worth anything
So everything else is irrelevant in their head. Not because of any training or discipline
It's as simple as "I want this nothing else matters"
Then the brain produces a good amount of dopamine for any task that is remotely related to the goal
The solution is Find out what you can do to make a habit out of something
so that It can be a "no brainer" that requires no willpower
Most people will only be able to do this, only to a limited extent
But will blame their slow progress to the "genetically disciplined"
and think they are lazy and just get depressed and give up.
"You Rack discipline" Is a meme.
Its more like you "rack the Neurons"

My dopamine receptors are fried. Gotta do a water fast, clean up my diet and start nofap tbh. I don't even enjoy anything besides drugs and alcohol anymore

I feel like once you get to this its just a semantics game. If you do something then you are motivated and want to do it. But I guess you could say if you dont enjoy it then you dont want to do it, but you do it anyways because you have discipline. But really its all the same thing. Whatever you want to call it, discipline, motivation, work ethic. If you can set goals and follow through on them then you have it

motivation also keeps discipline up. most common example is leanmaxxing and starting seeing the first results

So just dopamine fast theory?
No more like "do whatever it takes theory"
If it means taking methamphetamine or a bunch of caffeine to do
what the "disciplined" can do, then you just have to do that
and don't blame yourself for it

So just dopamine fast theory?
For example: I can't fast for more than 12 hours (including 8 hour sleep) without severe cravings
so I just force myself sleep at 12 hour mark
While multiple people say that fasting is only hard after 3 days
Is it because of discipline? Maybe, but probably not
Because they literally have no problems while my body is aching with problems
So I just do what I have to, and don't think less of myself
Or try to do it the "right way" and end up wasting a bunch of time
