Self control is the path to self respect, you respect yourself when you force yourself to do things daily you don't want to do.
Self respect is the path to pride, you find yourself greater than others for the suffering you force yourself to endure, that you know they don't endure.
Pride in oneself is the path to an ego, and an ego makes one bold and brave, and bravery leads one to adventure, conquest, and freedom.
Freedom is the basis of happiness and the quest for power.
Power is the meaning of life. It all begins at self control. Life is one long battle and the most respected individuals are also the individuals who triumph over the most suffering. This includes the warrior, the fighter, the father of children, he who overcomes resistance.
The greatest men of all time have certainly been disciplined individuals.
And if you haven't figured it out, the world is run by ugly, short, bald, angry men. Chad usually is naive, egotistical, average in every other way than looks, and loses to an individual who improves himself with discipline.
The pinnacle of existence is being tall, dark, handsome, rich, intelligent, famous, and a warrior.
Have you none of these things? Perhaps all you need is perseverance and intelligence, a solid plan to win in life and unrelenting work to do it.
Elon Musk is spending millions to launch massive rockets to Mars and they just keep exploding. He isn't giving up and nobody before him has ever done it or even tried. And you know what's interesting? Im certain eventually, in due time, he will succeed. But all he sees is his exploding rockets.
You could be the same, you could be successful one day.
Or you could remain the same, and be a loser.
The only appropriate response to this knowledge is action, not words, a reply is not needed, do what your conscious tells you you are supposed to do and take action and get your shit together.
Today we suffer for tomorrow, tomorrow we have victory, the day after that we die. Let us chase victory.
