If I had to guess, because they are mean spirited. I had helped them in previous essays, so I would've expected them to keep me in the group. There is a quota for the number of members in each team, but there was an acknowledgement that we would still be able to complete the essay regardless.

I did a more conscious effort to outdo them, but I was left with a sour taste. Why is it me specifically that has to do it alone? They are always complaining about something. What about me? What if my life sucks and I just want to play World of Tanks or watch television? I feel utterly disregarded.
I'm very apathetic in real life. I rarely if ever am contemptuous. I usually ignore my classmates, though I'm always kind and well spoken to them. I'm never LARPing as a personality I don't have. My course of action will probably be leave them on read, as I've done insofar, and outright tell them that I don't want anything to do with them.

I just want to cope with my forum friends and lay down. All my interests are childish and I've always felt more comfortable speaking in a forum than I've done in real life situations. I'm not ugly enough that it has been hard for me to live in cohabitation with others, but I just want to invest time in things that I like. It's a hassle that foids bother me when I sincerely do not care, and I'd prefer to be ignored thoroughly.
I'm not feeling really beat up about being kicked out, but it's the underlying notion that I don't matter enough that is bothering me. I know I'm nothing special, but I just want to carry on with my life. Things like these, inconveniences like this that pile up are so bothersome. I don't matter enough for them to consider that I might have something going on, or that I might be having difficulties, or that I have things I want to do. The "main character" meme happens to me in real life. I'm just glad it isn't bullying, but it feels bad to be kicked around.
