The best stimulant there is, your body’s preferred stimulant, is sugar. Every single cell in your body runs on sugar. When you’re tired, have some sugar. When you have no energy, eat more sugar. If you want to improve your insulin sensitivity, don’t avoid sugar; reduce your fat intake, especially saturated. Since ramping up my sugar intake, I haven’t had a single alcohol craving, and I used to drink almost every single day. If you don’t eat enough sugar, your body has to convert amino acids and fatty acids to glucose through gluconeogenesis, which requires a lot of metabolic effort and is a slow process. Just make sure to avoid the fat + sugar combination.

Too addicted to caffeine tbh. Can't use my brain without it anymore.

I drink a large iced coffee from mcdonalds every morning around 830, then home made coffee at around 1130, then another coffee at 4 then tea at like 8.

I have never drank a cup of coffee in my life. We have a coffee machine at home but I can‘t figure out how to use it ded srs.

The only reason you need stims is because your sugar intake is too low. Have a pound of fresh dates/fat-free candy/low-fat bread with plenty of honey or sugar cane syrup instead and see how you feel. People are so afraid of sugar nowadays because they’re misinformed

Yeah but coffee (and any other stimulant) becomes unnecessary when you get enough sugar, that was my point

Not necessary. If you need more energy, eat (or drink) sugar. Of course your body also needs all the cofactors to create energy, such as electrolytes and B vitamins. That’s why fruits are amongst the best foods there are - sugar, water and electrolytes in a package

What if i have some raisins mixed with yoghurt, oats and some nuts?

Raw oats are mostly resistant starch, which is indigestible and have quite a fat content and nuts are high in fat. Yoghurt doesn’t provide much sugar but wouldn’t hurt in moderation, if low-fat. I would separate fats from sugar as much as possible and make sure to get enough - A LOT - of sugar (as both starch and mono-/disaccharides)
