Your opinion on HCTZ?yeah don’t jump straight to prescription-tier diuretics, bro, that’s how people end up flat, dizzy, or with messed-up electrolytes.
for GH bloat, you wanna control water retention and aldosterone, not dehydrate yourself. start simple:
eplerenone (25-50mg/day) cleanest option, spares potassium, doesn’t nuke androgens like spironolactone. this is what most guys on GH or TRT use for mild water retention.
amiloride (5-10mg/day) good add-on if you’re still holding water. also potassium-sparing, works well with eplerenone.
torsemide or furosemide (Lasix) only if you’re pre-photoshoot level bloated and know what you’re doing. both can drain electrolytes hard, so you’ll need to refeed sodium + potassium after.
also:
check sodium intake. GH makes you retain sodium-heavy water. keep salt consistent, don’t overdo it.
add taurine (2-3g/day) helps with intracellular water balance and cramps.
if bloat’s bad even with eplerenone, add low-dose telmisartan (20-40mg) cleans up water and bp nicely.
tl;dr: start with eplerenone, add amiloride if needed. skip the harsh loop diuretics unless you’re prepping for stage or photos.
hctz works, but it’s kinda outdated compared to eplerenone or amiloride. it’ll drop water fast but also pulls electrolytes hard, sodium, potassium, magnesium, so you’ll end up flat and feel like shit if you’re not careful. plus, rebound bloat hits once you stop.Your opinion on HCTZ?
