DIY Bacteriostatic Water

How to Make Bacteriostatic Water Yourself

In this guide, I will explain how to make Bacteriostatic Water at home. Buying it premade is often a waste of money, especially for those on a tight budget.

1. What You Need: 🛒

  1. Benzyl Alcohol (at least 99.9% purity) – You won’t need much, as a 10ml vial will contain only 0.1ml of it.
  2. Sterile Distilled Water – You’ll need 9.9ml per vial.
  3. Vials for storage – I recommend 10ml vials because they make it easier to measure correctly.
  4. Syringes – The gauge doesn’t matter much, but get some 1ml syringes and a few larger ones (e.g., 3ml).
  5. Alcohol Wipes – Use these to wipe your syringes and vials to prevent contamination.

2. Cost Breakdown: 💸

  • Benzyl Alcohol ~ €10–20
  • Sterile Distilled Water ~ €10
  • 10 Vials ~ €10
  • Syringes ~ €5
  • Alcohol Wipes ~ €5
Note: Prices may vary depending on quantity, and you might already have some of these items if you frequently inject.

3. Before You Start: 🧴

  • Work in a clean and sterile environment.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly. For extra safety, wear sterile gloves.
  • Lay out all necessary materials within easy reach.

4. Step-by-Step Tutorial: 💉

Step 1:

Take a 3ml syringe and wipe the needle with an alcohol wipe.

Step 2:

Wipe the top of your vial with another alcohol wipe.

Step 3:

Draw up 3ml of distilled water and inject it into the vial. Repeat this step three times until you have 9ml in total.

Step 4:

Take a 1ml syringe and wipe it with an alcohol wipe.

Step 5:

Draw up 0.9ml (9 IU) of distilled water into your 1ml syringe and add it to the vial.

Step 6:

Draw up 0.1ml (1 IU) of benzyl alcohol and add it to the vial.

Step 7:

Place the vial in the fridge. It is now ready for use.

Note: I don’t recommend making more than one vial at a time unless you have a sealing device, as the vials are not completely airtight. Sealed vials can be stored for longer.

5. Conclusion: ❗

If you already have access to cheap Bacteriostatic Water, I wouldn’t recommend making it yourself. This process requires strict safety precautions, and it is essentially "bro science" follow this guide at your own risk.

The main reason I wrote this guide is that many young people such as me struggle to afford peptides and other essentials, and this method provides a cheaper alternative.

Hope you found this guide helpful!
