QUALITY OF LIFE BOOST

Peptides are undoubtfully a massive thing nowadays, and seem to be the future of biohacking/development "modulation". There are loads of different peptides, all serving different useful purposes. But whilst that's a really good thing - something quite inconvenient about them is the amount of injections you have to do per day. Even if you don't have an advanced stack consisting of multiple peptides, and are just, for example, pinning GHK-Cu in the morning - this will still save you a LOT of time and effort, for such a relatively low investment.

In this short thread, I will teach you how to load up empty insulin cartridges with whatever you want (except for oils, don't fucking do that), and how to subsequently pin effectively. This will cut pinning time (including fridge trips, preparation, etc.) from minutes, down to seconds. This may look hard initially, but as soon as you do this once - this will feel as easy as washing your hands.

Shopping List:
Pen-Related:
Custom empty insulin cartridges;
Insulin pen compatible with said cartridges;
Insulin pen needles (definitely get as low of a gauge as possible, and at the highest length, to ensure full injection; usually they range from 33g to 31g, and around 4mm, but there are longer needles with lower gauges available online, e.g. 29g at 0.5").

Sourcing:
The place you would want to get most of the above (besides maybe the needles) is ebay
(that's where I myself have bought from - just ensure you get the best quality products, of course).
The needles can be bought at any medical equipment surplus store.

Prep Equipment:
1-3cc syringe;
2 needles for said syringe (around 27g);
Alcohol swabs.

Sourcing:
Any medical equipment surplus store.

Loading Process:

I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU PRACTICE WITH WATER FIRST TO GET THE TECHNIQUE RIGHT

I

Slip the needle onto the empty syringe and pull out the amount of air

equivalent to the cartridge volume, out of said cartridge

(done in multiple goes if syringe volume < cartridge volume, ofc):

IMG 6824

II

Draw up an amount of the peptide, equivalent to the volume of the cartridge

(or max measurable syringe volume. If it's less than that of the cartridge - the following is done in multiple goes as well).

Then, insert the other syringe needle into the cartridge (without it being attached to anything.

This is done to ensure the pressure stays equal, and the cartridge's plunger doesn't pop out):

IMG 6825

III

Insert the syringe you just filled and, on a flat surface, ensuring you hold the cartridge firmly pressed to said surface, start slowly injecting the peptide.

Take it nice and easy - especially near the end.

If you're doing this in multiple goes - take out BOTH needles in between injections:

IMG 6826

Repeat until the cartridge is filled with the exact amount the cartridge can hold. DO NOT fill the cartridge with a higher amount than its listed capacity.

IMG 6827

After you have done this - simply load up the filled cartridge into the pen as per usual and screw on the pen needle.

Calculating the Clicks:

Check what unit increments your pen goes up in (usually 0.5U/click or 1U/click).

Then check how many FULL units it goes up in (for example, a pen that has 60 clicks, and goes up in 0.5U/click, has 30 FULL unit clicks). Then use these simple equations:

(Cartridge volume) / (Max full unit clicks in pen) = (Vol./full unit)

(Desired peptide dose) / (Vol./full unit) = (Dosage in units)

(Dosage in units) / (Units/click) = (Clicks)

My Example:

(3ml) / (60 full unit clicks in pen) = (0.05ml/U)

(0.225ml) / (0.05ml/U) = (4.5U)

(4.5U) / (1U/click) = (4.5 clicks)

A.e. in order for me to inject 0.225ml of the peptide, I have to do 4.5 clicks (but I will round it down to 4, as obviously, mine goes up in 1, like we already established.

Injecting:

Sanitize, turn the pen for the right amount of clicks, press its needle into your subcutaneous fat and press the button all the way down.

Let it sit inside for 10-15 seconds after the injection - and you're done.

Now you can just walk up to your fridge with an alcohol swab; lift up your shirt; wipe; pin - and go. No more running around your place

from the fridge to bathroom in the morning, no more lengthy syringe unpacking processes, no more bins flooded with pins -

and a lot of saved time!

You can even preload a bunch of cartridges and just keep them sitting at your fridge until

you simply ditch the empty one from your pen & pull a tactical reload with a new one.

P.S. I am aware that pre-loaded peptide pens are sold, but the dosing is weird a lot of times,

and you barely know what source the peptides are coming from. Besides - they're usually ridiculously overpriced.

This guide is for users, who buy from usual, trusted sources - like the chads they are😎

Enjoy :)

No more running around your place

from the fridge to bathroom in the morning, no more lengthy syringe unpacking processes, no more bins flooded with pins - and a lot of saved time!

Enjoy :)

except for oils, don't fucking do that
Actually did read off topic anyone wanting to pin oils with a smaller gauge without taking an hour warm up your test or whatever place ur syringe of test into a bowl of warm water like 3 min

lmaoo

they all buy prefilled carts
i fill my own cause im chad 😎
Prefilled? You still have to reconstitute the vial then transfer it into the pen

DIY-LOADING PEPTIDE PENS - A MASSIVE
QUALITY OF LIFE BOOST

By Sadist

DISCLAIMER: By no means is this medical advice. Consult a medical professional before taking any of the following steps.

Thread Song:

Read in Dark Theme for the best experience

Custom empty insulin cartridges;
Insulin pen compatible with said cartridges;
Insulin pen needle (definitely get as low of a gauge as possible and as long of a needle as possible to ensure full injection; usually they range from 33g to 31g, and around 4mm, but there are longer needles with lower gauges available online).

Sourcing:
The place you would want to get most of the above (besides maybe the needles) is ebay
(that's where I myself have bought from - just ensure you get the best quality products, of course).
The needles can be bought at any medical equipment surplus store

Prep Equipment:
1-3cc syringe;
2 needles for said syringe (around 27g);
Alcohol swabs.

Sourcing:
Any medical equipment surplus store.

Loading Process:

I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU PRACTICE WITH WATER FIRST TO GET THE TECHNIQUE RIGHT

I

Slip the 27-ish gauge needle onto the empty syringe and pull out the amount of air equivalent to the cartridge volume,

out of said cartridge:

II

Draw up an amount of the peptide, equivalent to the volume of the cartridge

(or max measurable syringe volume if it's less than that of the cartridge; the following can be done in multiple goes).

Then, insert the other syringe needle into the cartridge (without it being attached to anything.

This is done to ensure the pressure stays equal, and the cartridge's plunger doesn't pop out):

III

Insert the syringe you just filled and, on a flat surface, ensuring you hold the cartridge firmly pressed to said surface,

start slowly injecting the peptide. If you're doing this in multiple goes - take out BOTH needles in between injections:

Repeat until the cartridge is filled with the exact amount the cartridge can hold. DO NOT fill the cartridge with higher amount of content than its listed capacity.

(Vial volume) / (Max full unit clicks in pen) = (Vol./full unit)

(Desired peptide dose) / (Vol./full unit) = (Dosage in units)

(Dosage in units) / (Units/click) = (Clicks)

My Example:

(3ml) / (60 full unit clicks in pen) = (0.05ml/U)

(0.225ml) / (0.05ml/U) = (4.5U)

(4.5U) / (1U/click) = (4.5 clicks)

A.e. in order for me to inject 0.225ml of the peptide, I have to do 4.5 clicks (but I will round it down to 4, as obviously, mine goes up in 1, like we already established.

you COULD do that, but i doubt its good to do with pens still jfl
great tip for frontloading regular pins though:p

Can’t the cartridge only be punctured a certain number of times so if u keep using the same cartridge u will get bumps on or dick and die like a sand nigger that just fucked a mountain goat
